Localization implies translations which are tailored to the market and/or the target group. Texts are adjusted to the language of the market, social and other demands, taking into account the linguistic and cultural aspects which must be either adjusted or completely excluded.
Localization is creation of a version in target language, and the adjustment of its content, style, cultural conventions – currency, numbers, dates – to the country and language in which it will be used. It is a translation of software, software documentation, user manuals, e-learning material, marketing material, etc.
